Every athlete is evaluated for the team where they will be safest, most successful, and appropriately challenged—Novice, Prep, or Elite.
2026–2027 · Half-year cheer
A first step into competitive allstar cheer for new athletes and those coming from recreational or school cheer. No prior experience is required.
Teams compete against other Prep teams with routines up to two minutes long, combining tumbling, stunting, pyramids, and dance.
Clinic & tryouts
Choose a time: 4:30, 5:30, 6:30, or 7:30 PM.
Register for a tryout time and attend the clinic for your age group. All times are local to the gym in Deerfield Beach.
Coaches will see your tumbling skills (it is OK if you have none), front hurdler and toe-touch jumps, and heel stretch, arabesque, and needle body positions for flyers only. There is no routine or material to learn beforehand.
The season commitment
Each practice lasts 90 minutes. Consistent attendance matters; missing multiple practices can affect an athlete’s position on the team. Contact the gym for your team’s practice days and times.
The program includes two local competitions in Fort Lauderdale and the Spring Gym Jam. Athletes are expected to attend every competition and performance.
Competition and Gym Jam dates will be posted once confirmed. Ask the gym before making travel plans.
Package & payment schedule
$1,390 total package
$65 tryout registration, followed by five $265 payments due December 1, January 1, February 1, March 1, and April 1.
Includes a program tee, competition uniform, competition bow, competition registration, music, and choreography.
A returning-athlete package is available for athletes who already have their uniform. Contact the gym to confirm the final total and payment schedule.

Uniform fittings take place at tryouts. Uniforms and bows are distributed before the first competition. Athletes need white cheerleading shoes and wear all black to practice, with a high ponytail and bow. Program tees are handed out after practices begin; fan gear is available in the pro shop.

Signups begin October 15, 2026. Half Year Allstar Prep is for ages 5–18, requires no prior experience, and runs from November 2026 through April 2027. The clinic is November 19 and tryouts are November 20, 2026.
Novice is the foundational placement, Prep is the progressive competitive placement, and Elite is the premier placement for athletes ready for the highest technical and travel commitment. Coaches make placements after evaluating the complete athlete.
Age determines which divisions an athlete is eligible for, but it does not determine placement by itself. Coaches also evaluate tumbling, stunting compatibility, performance energy, technical execution, and readiness.
No. USASF requires an athlete to choose one competitive tier for the season, either Prep or Elite, though they may also be rostered on a Novice team. Once an athlete has competed, moving between Prep and Elite requires USASF approval, is granted one time only, and the athlete cannot move back for the rest of the season.
USASF allows an athlete to be rostered on up to three cheer teams at a sanctioned competition, meaning one primary team plus two crossovers within the same club. Athletes may also cross from cheer to dance without that limit.
No. The evaluation process is designed to find the safest and most productive placement for every athlete, including beginners developing their first cheer and tumbling skills.
Evaluations and weekly training registration are handled through the iClassPro parent portal. The live program list below reflects the classes currently available in that system.
We are an approved direct service provider, so families with an eligible Florida scholarship may be able to put those funds toward training here. Eligibility is determined by Step Up For Students.
