Cheer jumps & motions class

Jumps and motions are the details that make a cheerleader look polished and score well. This class trains the flexibility, strength, and timing behind higher jumps and crisp, sharp motions. Athletes drill toe touches, hurdlers, and clean arm work in a focused group setting. Our jumps and motions class at The Stingray Allstars Fort Lauderdale in Deerfield Beach is open to athletes across Broward County.

What is a jumps and motions class?

This is a skill-specific class built around two of the most visible parts of any cheer routine: jumps and motions. Rather than dividing time across every skill, the session concentrates on the technique, flexibility, and sharpness that judges and coaches notice immediately.

Jumps and motions are areas where dedicated training pays off quickly, because small technical fixes and consistent conditioning can add real height and crispness in a short time.

What do you work on in a jumps class?

Coaches combine flexibility work, strength drills, and repetition to help athletes jump higher, hit cleaner positions, and snap through their motions with control.

  • Toe touches, hurdlers, and other standard jumps
  • Flexibility and strength drills that add jump height
  • Approach, timing, and landing technique
  • Jump sequences and connecting multiple jumps
  • Sharp, clean arm motions and body control

Who benefits from a jumps and motions class?

Any cheerleader who wants a better toe touch or a sharper performance benefits from this class. Jumps and motions are scored on nearly every team and are a common area athletes want to improve before evaluations.

It fits all-star athletes, school and rec cheerleaders, and newer athletes building fundamentals. Cheerleaders from any Fort Lauderdale or Broward County program are welcome to train with us.

How do you jump higher and get sharper motions?

Height and sharpness come from a mix of flexibility, core and leg strength, and correct technique, all reinforced through consistent reps. This class targets each of those pieces so improvement is built on real conditioning rather than a single trick.

Progress varies by athlete, but focused, repeated practice with coach feedback is the reliable path to cleaner jumps and motions over time.
