Rules, Terms & Commitment

All athletes and parents agree to follow these policies to maintain a safe, positive, and professional cheer environment. Compliance is required for continued enrollment.

Attire

Athletes must wear athletic clothing: a tucked-in tee and shorts, a leotard, or a sports bra and shorts. Hair must be secured back and no jewelry is permitted. Clean, soft-soled cheer shoes are the only footwear allowed on the gym floor; street shoes are not permitted past the lobby and cheer shoes are for indoor use only.

  • Belongings must be stored in labeled cubbies (the facility is not responsible for lost or damaged items)
  • No gum is allowed

Etiquette & Conduct

Good sportsmanship and a positive attitude are required at all practices, competitions, and on social media. Only water in spill-proof bottles is allowed on the mats. Posts that misrepresent the gym may result in suspension or removal.

  • Zero tolerance for gossip about athletes, coaches, or staff
  • Parents remain in the viewing area; no yelling onto the floor or contacting athletes through the glass
  • Threatening to quit or pull an athlete is grounds for immediate dismissal
  • Parents and relatives may never contact competition officials

Arrival & Dismissal

Arrive 5 minutes before class. Pick up promptly. Students stay inside until a parent arrives and escorts them out. Drive cautiously in the lot. The gym is not childcare; no unsupervised drop-off outside of a scheduled class, lesson, or practice.

Enrollment & Make-Ups

One make-up class per calendar month is issued as a token that expires 30 days from the missed class. Make-ups apply only to standard classes, not private lessons, clinics, or Open Stunt & Tumble. Withdrawal requires written notice (email or hand-delivered) with 30 days notice; the account owes tuition for that full 30-day period.

Financial Policies (Competitive)

Accounts must stay current within 30 days or eligibility may be suspended. Auto-pay is required and balances are processed on the 7th of each month. No refunds are issued for athletes who quit or are dismissed; past-due charges are due immediately. Uniform rentals must be returned by April 30, with a $250 replacement fee if not returned.

  • Alternate status is billed $100 per month and reverts to standard when returned to Active

Communication

The chain of command is Head Coach, then Cheer Director, then Owner/President. Parents are responsible for regularly checking email and Band/GroupMe. Stingray Allstars reserves the right to interpret or change these rules at any time.
